Costa Mushrooms


Costa own their farms, and their reputation depends on storage and distribution solutions to maintain the freshest, highest standards.

With only a short project turnaround, Hoctor boosted the capacity of Costa to supply farm-fresh quality mushrooms within 24 hours of harvest, guaranteeing consumer access all year round. Our work doubled the Monarto mushroom plant output.

Hoctor delivered humidity control for the large scale processing facility and cool room. The parameters included automated temperature, humidity and pressure, utilising Danfoss MCX logic controllers for remote access and accuracy.

Our evaporative condensers supported the Costa plant room to maintain stable lower conditions, which resolved issues arising from the vast fluctuations of the local climate.
